Meldmisstanden.nl

Meldmisstanden.nl is an incident hotline, consisting of a website and a special phone number, where employees can anonymously and confidentially report incidents and irregularities within their company.

Why Misstanden.nl?

Experience with incident reporting hotlines, also abroad, learns that employees are prepared to report incidents when:

  • A communication channel is readily available;
  • The report can be done anonymously.

Meldmisstanden.nl offers you the possibility to report incidents 24 hours a day and guarantees your anonymity. The incident hotline is a gesture of good will towards committed employees and may help create a good working environment.

How does it work?

If you decide to make use of this service, the first step to take is to inform your employees about it. You should clearly state the purpose of using an incident hotline and the arrangements you have made concerning anonymity and confidentiality. We can provide standard letters to inform your employees. Also, we offer our services as an independent bureau to introduce this service to your employees and/or the works council.

After the first introduction, there are several ways to permanently announce the incident hotline to your employees, for example, through the Intranet, staff magazine, posters etc. Once they are acquainted with the procedure your employees can report incidents 24 hours a day:

Our professionals will monitor and process the reports. After receiving an incident report we will contact you or the person you assigned as our contact. This way, you will know that something is going on in your organization and you can do something about it, with our help if desired.

We will regularly send you an overview of the number of reports and their overall content. This information will be of use for your official reports.
